Rotarians and other civic volunteers came together to operate the Family Fun Fair and Immunization Clinic, Saturday, April 24. The event, held at Christview Christian Church at 25th and Garnett, attracted hundreds of families.
Activities included “Safe Kids” car seat checks, bike rodeo, fire safety training, face painting clowns and door prizes. The event featured free vision, dental, hearing, developmental and speech screenings as well as immunizations.
Rotarians manned the welcome desks, information center, shuttle and immunization clinic. You could spot us by the red t-shirts we were wearing. All had a good time and helped to make the free Family Fun Fair a success.
The event was sponsored by Rotary, Tulsa Tech, Tulsa Health Department, Tulsa Area Immunization Coalition, Oklahoma’s Care Van, Early Childhood Association of Oklahoma, Safe Kids, Oklahoma DHS and the child Care Resource Center.
Harry Livingston was this year’s project chairman.
